Learn to Brew's special wine- and beer-making classes are perfect for employees, groups, and special events like birthdays, bacherlorette parties, and team-building seminars. Typically done on the weekends, our classes help intermediate to advanced brewers perfect their brewing skills while having fun with classmates! You're more than welcome to come to our store, but we also provide online and off-site classes for your convenience.

Beginner and Advanced Beer Making
Students will learn tips, techniques, and troubleshooting methods on making beer with extract and all grain.

Beginner and Advanced Wine Making
In the wine-making classes, students learn hands-on how to produce quality wines at home. The classes cover picking ingredients, balancing acids, fermenting, bottling, aging, and other areas.

Mead Making
Learn to Brew will teach you how to make a tasty alcoholic drink from the fermentation of honey.

Beer Sensory Analysis
Join Learn to Brew for a beer tasting of 8 to 15 common flavors found in beer. By learning to sense and identify the off flavors, students can improve their brewing techniques and produce better-tasting beer.

Wine Sensory Analysis
Join Learn to Brew for a wine class where you learn to identify 36 flavors that are common in most wines. By learning to sense and identify the off flavors, students can improve their knowledge and wine-making techniques.

Recipe Formulation
Learn how to accurately calculate the amounts of base grains, specialty grains, hops, alcohol content, mash volume, and other ingredients.

Water Chemistry Analysis
Learn about the ions in your water and how to adjust them to reach a target content. Plus, you can bring your own water and have it tested.

Yeast Management
In the yeast management class, students learn the basics behind the biochemistry of yeast fermentation and metabolism. Students will count yeast cells using a microscope, test the viability of the yeast strain, and learn the correct methods for pitching yeast.
